11/6/16: It's that time of year again, for the Glens Falls Chronicle Book Fair! I'll be there signing and selling "Stormwind of the North Country," "Secrets of the North Country," "The Forests I Called Home," and "Matthias: The Ghost of Salvation Point." Over 100 local and regional authors attend every year. It's this Sunday, November 6, from 11 to 3, at the Queensbury Hotel on Maple and Ridge Streets in downtown Glens Falls. Book lovers, come check it out and support your local authors!

2/14/16: "Matthias: The Ghost of Salvation Point" is now available to purchase at Sherman's Books and Stationary. Sherman's is a bookstore chain with five locations along the Maine coast, in Camden, Freeport, Portland, Bar Harbor, and Boothbay Harbor.    

3/25/15: Today I will be appearing at the Ticonderoga Middle School Job Fair to talk to students about a career as an author. This is my third year.

2/21/15: Book Signing! Everyone's invited! On Saturday, March 7th, I'll be doing a book signing at the Blackwatch Memorial Library, Ticonderoga, with "Matthias" and my other books, from 12:30 to 2. Hope to see you there!

12/24/14: Received my proof copy of "Matthias" from CreateSpace.

12/15/14: Got my book PDF back from Jera Publishing  with all the corrections complete. Jason, the formatter, did a great job! They're a fast and good service, not too expensive. I recommend them for anyone looking for a book formatter, editor, cover designer, etc. I look forward to finally seeing my completed book!

12/2/14: I just sent "Matthias" out to be formatted into proper book form with Jera Publishing ( After over a year of writing, I feel like I'm sending my baby out into the world!

11/4/14: I finally finished the "Matthias" manuscript Sunday night at 11:30! After over a year of writing, the book is (mostly) done! It still needs work, a lot of revising and proofreading, but am so excited that my fourth book will soon be out!

August 2013: I began writing “Matthias: The Ghost of Salvation Point,” an adventure story set in Maine, for readers 8 – 12.

8/11/13:  On Tuesday, August 13, 2013,  I will be appearing at the Author's Night book signing at Hoss's Country Corner, Long Lake, NY, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  Over 100 Adirondack area authors participate in this annual event.  It is always a fun evening for book lovers.  For directions and more information, visit  Hope to see you there!

4/21/12:  Press release for "Secrets of the North Country" in Times of Ti newspaper:  (note - they had made a mistake in the headline; this is my third book.) 

3/24/12:  On Saturday, March 24, I will be having a book signing for "Secrets" (and the two other books).  The event will be held from 11:00 - 2:00 at All 'Bout Critters Pet Shop in Ticonderoga, NY, corner of Montcalm St. and Lake George Avenue.

3/2012:  "Secrets of the North Country: The Hobo's Story" has been released in hardcover, and is available to purchase.

2/15/12:  Received the cover and text proofs for "Secrets of the North Country."  The cover is perfect!

1/29/12:  Completed "Secrets of the North Country" and submitted it to publisher...two days ahead of deadline!

8/18/11:  Signed contract to write the sequel to "Stormwind:" "Secrets of the North Country - The Hobo's Story."

3/14/2011:  "The Forests I Called Home" published and officially released! 

3/10/2011:  I received the cover and text proofs for "The Forests I Called Home."  They look great!

2/2011:  My second book, "The Forests I Called Home - A Memoir of Living, Leaving, and Loving the Woods and Sea" has been accepted for publication.

10/24/10:  On Sunday, Novenber 7th, I will be appearing for my second year at The Glens Falls Chronicle Book Fair.   It is from 11:00 to 4:00 at the Queensbury Hotel.  I'll be taking part in a discussion on Memoir writing, and will be participating in the "5-Minute Mini-Readings" from Stormwind or my upcoming memoir, "The Forests I Called Home."  Of course, I will also be signing and selling my book. 

The Chronicle Book Fair brings in more than 120 authors, book sellers, publishers, and non-profit groups to participate in this annual event with FREE ADMISSION.  I hope to see you there!

6/9/10:  Today I visited my old school, Stewart M. Townsend Middle School, Lake Luzerne NY, where I went from grades 5 to 8.  I spoke to three classes about the publishing and writing process, and how living in Hadley-Luzerne inspired the setting for my book.

10/8/09:  Today I visited Mrs. O'Bryan's 4th-grade class at Ticonderoga Elementary School for my first book presentation.  I answered students' questions, and discussed the writing and publishing process.
